Burger King Leaves 'Lost' Wallets on Street

Handing out free money and branded vouchers was the latest tactic adopted by fast-food outlet Burger King as it left apparently lost wallets on streets around America.

The wallets, which appeared to have been dropped by innocent passers-by, contained ID suggesting they belonged to "The King" and carried a message that read, "The King wants you to keep this wallet and everything in it." Each of the 5,000 wallets dropped contained up to $100 in cash and a BK Crown Card preloaded with as much as $20 to be spent in-store. Word of mouth and extensive blogging on the campaign helped spread the Burger King message.
