Ed Cotton talked at the PSFK Conference about why trends matter and how we can turn them into inspiration for our creative teams. He says that artists are sponges, and if we think of the creatives in this way, the information we give to them in a briefing needs to be absorbed. So how best do we get creatives to pay attention? We need to inspire them. He has an Inspiration Color Wheel with 9 inspiration themes, ranging from "envy" to "white space." Check out the full presentation below (26 minutes).
